Elena Marsh
1938 – 2024
“She planted gardens she would never sit in.”
Elena spent forty years teaching third grade and every summer of them in her garden. She believed a person could be measured by what they grew — tomatoes, children, patience. Her oak was planted by her students, now grown, on the first warm day of spring.
