Request a removal
Every memorial here is public, and a search engine can find it. That is deliberate. It also means a family has to be able to ask for a memorial to come down and have that request honored. This is where you ask.
Who this is for
Immediate family, an executor or someone with legal authority over the person's affairs, or the person the memorial is for, if they are the one asking. If a memorial was made for the wrong person, or contains something that shouldn't be public, tell us that too.
What happens next
Your request goes to the caretaker who maintains this grove, the same person who reads and approves every tribute. It does not go to a support queue. We aim to respond within a few days. Removing a memorial takes its page down at once and drops it from search results as those update. It does not merely hide it. If your request is urgent, say so in the message below.
